Hana Yori: Exceptional Sushi and Hibachi Experience in Jacksonville

This place was amazing!! It was our first time there and I’m extremely impressed! Xanny was an excellent server!! Very attentive and personable!! She made sure we were happy through our entire experience!! She was very patient with us while we figured out what we wanted and helped guide us through the menu even though she was also pretty busy! We didn’t even know there was a party of about 30 people on the other side of the restaurant until we were about done. We would never had known, the cooks were great with timing and all the servers worked really well together. The SUSHI!!! Was amazing!!!! You could tell the sushi was made with love. Ducky assisted xanny presenting us with our food and told us which item was which on the plate!! I appreciated the hospitality this restaurant gave and I will be back!! I also want to try the hibachi next time!

Always had the best sushi and great staff. They seem like they never raised their prices, they pretty much have same prices like when they first opened. Definitely worth going and enjoying their sushi and hibachi. THANK YOU HANA YORI (review was long overdue). 감사합니다, To-siā, សូមអរគុណ.

A nice cozy environment for some delicious hibachi and sushi. The food was good. Service was amazing. They were attentive and friendly! I'll definitely be back!

I have been going to this restaurant sine I moved to Jacksonville three years ago, and it is by far my favorite hibachi/sushi place. They have such a nice environment to have a dinner. It is perfect for any kind of dinner whether its a date, family outing, or just a friend dinner. Sushi and Nigiri are great, no complaints whatsoever about the food. The staff is always friendly and every experience I have had here is a positive one. Try this restaurant out the next time you want sushi or hibachi!

Food is consistently good. Cooked to order. Great sushi variety. Portion sizes were great. Good seasoning without being over spicy. Definitely try the white fish.

What a gem of a place, so glad we gave them a try. I love Lil mom and pop shops like Hana Yori. Awesome service, Tanya our waitress was fabulous. Very attentive, helpful, and sweet. We were craving sushi, and they nailed it. We split 4 rolls and a scallops and shrimp hibachi dish..phenomenal! Great Japanese food, and at a good price.. The atmosphere is mellow and comfortable, casual dress type place, the place itself is kinda quaint but I really love how they decorate their walls. They are completely covered with little wood tiles, that the guest themselves decorate. Really cool, and entertaining to read while waiting for your food. I'm gonna have to go back just to decorate one, because they were out of the wood tiles when we dined in. All good,gives me a reason to go back and get some more sushi and hibachi. If your into Japanese food, don't miss this place...ask for Tanya.

After eating here once, I was addicted!! Whether you’re ordering take out or planning on sitting down to eat, the food will be amazing. The sushi is great. The meat & veggies in the hibachi are always cooked to perfection in a large portion. The staff is so friendly and the atmosphere is chill & relaxed. Don’t forget to order their teriyaki sauce for your hibachi, made to your spice level preference! The only complaint I have is they’re not opened earlier than 4:30.
